Emergency Medical Training course will provide information for: the emergency medical service system, the role and responsibilities of the Emergency Medical Technician, communication, patient packaging, anatomy, physiology, pathology, patient assessment, airway management and basic cardiac life support, skills in patient assessment, soft tissue injury care, splinting, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, extrication, and patient movement.
- Class runs Tuesday, August 1 – Tuesday, December 19.
- Training takes place at SOWELA Leesville.
- Students meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 – 9:00 PM.
