This policy outlines our commitment to preventing hazing, ensuring student safety, and enforcing disciplinary actions for violations.
Hazing includes any intentional or reckless act that endangers physical health or safety, causes severe emotional distress, or involves criminal activity in the context of student organization initiation or membership. Consent to hazing is not a defense, and all students and organizations are expected to report violations.

Hazing is strictly prohibited in Louisiana, with comprehensive policies and laws in place to prevent and address such activities. If you witness or suspect hazing, it is imperative to report it immediately. In emergency situations, dial 911.
For non-emergencies, reports can be made to campus security, the Director of Student Services, or through the online student complaint form.
