Jacqueline Broussard

Academic Advisor for Chemical Laboratory Technology, Industrial Electrical Technology, and Industrial Instrumentation Technology.

I have a bachelor's in elementary education and a master's in curriculum design and instruction. I am currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus in Educational Psychology. Prior to moving to higher education, I had the opportunity to work with elementary students and adult ESL students. My educational philosophy is that everyone's path is unique, and all students can succeed regardless of their situation. I love meeting new students, listening to their stories and helping them successfully navigate their academic journey.

Susan Manuel

Enrollment and Advising Specialist for Business Administration, Industrial Electrical Technology, Industrial Instrumentation Technology, Welding, and for students applying the Practical Nursing program.

I was born and raised in Oakdale. I earned my bachelor's and master's degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. My career has taken me many places: a university classroom as an English instructor, a newsroom as a journalist and the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (aka the TOPS office) where I helped students and parents navigate the path to securing financial aid for college. Upon returning to Oakdale, I had a deeper understanding of how a college degree can change a life and a desire to help local students achieve their education goals.
