Each Location Will Host Two Camps for Children Ages 10-14
(Lake Charles, Louisiana – April 3, 2023)
SOWELA Technical Community College’s Office of Workforce Solutions will offer multiple Culinary Camps this summer for children 10-14. Camper spots are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Campers learn a variety of basic chef skills in state-of-the-art industrial kitchens. SOWELA’s expert Culinary Arts chefs lead each Camp.
SOWELA’s Lake Charles and Jennings locations will host Culinary Camps with limited spots on the following dates:
- SOWELA Main Campus in Lake Charles: July 10-14 and July 17-21
- SOWELA Jennings site: July 10-14 and July 24-28
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The cost of the Camp is $290 per child. Registration includes breakfast and lunch daily, along with all cooking supplies.
