Each Location Will Host Two Camps for Children Going into Seventh Through Ninth Grade
Lake Charles, Louisiana – Tuesday, April 23
SOWELA Technical Community College’s Office of Workforce Solutions will offer multiple Culinary Camps this summer for seventh through ninth-grade children. Camper spots are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Campers learn a variety of basic chef skills in state-of-the-art industrial kitchens. SOWELA’s expert Culinary Arts chefs lead each camp.
Culinary camps will take place on the following dates:
- SOWELA Main Campus in Lake Charles: June 17-21 and June 24-28.
- SOWELA Jennings site: July 15-19 and July 29 – August 2.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost of the culinary camps is $290 per child. Registration includes breakfast and lunch daily, along with all cooking supplies.
