The Evening Class Runs November 10 – April 18 and Meets Monday-Thursday

SOWELA Technical Community College’s Office of Workforce Solutions is bringing its Emergency Medical Training (EMT) course to the SOWELA Oakdale site, beginning Monday, November 10. Class meets Monday through Thursday from 5-10 p.m. through April 18.
Students learn about the emergency medical service system, the role and responsibilities of an Emergency Medical Technician, anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, airway management, basic cardiac life support and more. Training is $250 for a limited time, a $1,700 savings. Students will also have the opportunity to hear from local employers about available job openings. Training spots are limited.
