SOWELA-Oakdale Hosting Forest Technology Informational Session

A free event for individuals interested in a forestry-related career


SOWELA Technical Community College in Oakdale, LA, is offering a free informational session for individuals interested in the Forest Technology program. The event is Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at SOWELA – Oakdale, 117 LA – Hwy. 1152, Oakdale, LA 71463.

The Forest Technology program prepares students to produce, protect and manage woodland resources. Coursework also includes how to maintain and operate related equipment and harvest raw forest materials for converting into a variety of consumer goods.
