All SOWELA Alumni Invited to Attend Free Reception to help Jumpstart the Alumni Group
LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA – June 4, 2019
SOWELA Technical Community College is hosting a networking reception for graduates or completers of the College on Wednesday, June 19th, from 5-7 p.m. at SOWELA’s Regional Training Center Auditorium, 3749 Senator J. Bennett Johnston Ave., Lake Charles, LA 70615.
Karla Hennagin, Grants and Special Projects Coordinator, said, “the alumni kickoff event not only gives graduates the opportunity to network with each other and return to campus but the opportunity to engage with SOWELA to ensure educational access and community vitality for years to come.”
Alumni attending the event will have the chance to share how they would like to get involved with their alma mater, as well as volunteer to be part of the first alumni network board.
The kick-off includes music and food prepared and sponsored by Coushatta Casino Resort. Alumni are welcome to bring a guest with them to the event, which is free of charge. Attire is business casual.
