What is Next Generation ACCUPLACER?
ACCUPLACER Next-Generation (opens new window) is a computerized placement exam that tests your knowledge in math, reading, and writing. This test helps to identify your strengths and weaknesses in each subject area and assists us with determining your performance ability regarding college level course work.
What is the difference between ACCUPLACER and Next Generation ACCUPLACER testing?
Both are untimed computer adaptive tests. PERSONAL CALCULATORS are PROHIBITED for any part of the test; however, a calculator function is built into the exam for use on SOME math questions. Pencil and scratch paper are also provided for manual computations.
