SOWELA Technical Community College issues Student Parking Tag Permits which are good for each academic year (fall, spring, and summer semesters).
To receive a parking tag, students need to complete the Parking Tag Permit Form (PDF) and bring the completed form, along with their Vehicle Registration Form (for any vehicle that will be parking on campus), Student ID card, and Driver's License to the One Stop Center on any of the SOWELA campuses. The One Stop Center hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday 7:45 AM - 12:00 PM.
For the following semesters during that academic year, students should bring their parking tag(s) to the Parking Tag Office to have them authorized for the following semester. Failure to have student parking tag(s) authorized will result in receiving a No Parking Tag ticket.
Authentic Handicapped Tags (issued by the state Office of Motor Vehicles) allow an individual to park in any handicapped parking space, regardless of its location on the SOWELA Technical Community College Campus.
If you are a student, you must have a valid SOWELA parking tag in your vehicle at all times. This includes students who also have state-issued handicapped parking tags.
Both tags must be visible to SOWELA security to avoid receiving a parking violation.
