Paralegal Studies

Program Description

As part of the Business Administration degree, Paralegal Studies practically prepares students to work in local law offices as a paralegal and office manager.

Curriculum covers litigation procedures, law office technology, legal research and writing and more. Students complete the requirements to become a Louisiana Notary and intern in a local law office.

SOWELA's Business Administration program offers students a well-rounded business education that prepares them for entry-level administration or supervisory positions. In addition to paralegal courses, students receive instruction in key business areas, such as marketing, management, ethics and accounting.
