The Networking concentration equips students with the academic and technical foundation necessary for a network design and administration profession. Through coursework and hands-on experience, students gain expertise in planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining networks of various sizes. Alongside networking skills, the concentration encompasses studies in security, operating systems, servers, and other relevant technology subjects. Certifications pertinent to this specialization may include CompTIA Network+, A+, Cisco CCNA, and others.
The Networking concentration offers students a well-rounded Information Systems Technology education and an internship that prepares them for entry-level Network Technician or Systems Administrator positions.
