SOWELA Technical Community College offers a 100% online Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice. The degree was designed with working adults in mind. If you need the flexibility of a fully online degree that will help you move up in administrative or supervisory positions, or earn credits toward a bachelor’s degree, this program is for you!
The Online Criminal Justice degree emphasizes safe and efficient work practices, basic occupational skills, and the application of federal, state, and local laws as they apply to both emergency and routine situations. Course content is organized into competency-based courses of instruction that specify occupational competencies that the student must successfully complete.
SOWELA offers credit for three of the classes in the Criminal Justice degree for individuals who are POST certified. Notify your advisor to submit the necessary paperwork to receive credit.
