Welcome to the School of Arts and Sciences. The mission of the School is to provide excellent educational opportunities for students by supporting their individual goals to further education at the baccalaureate level or to enter directly into the workforce.
The Criminal Justice degree and the new concentration in death investigation prepares students to either enter the criminal justice field or move on to a four-year baccalaureate program. The other three degrees allow us to customize your education to prepare you for transitioning into a four-year degree program of your choice at a university.
Even if students choose not to major in one of the degrees offered, they still encounter the School of Arts and Sciences since it also provides the vast majority of the general education courses at SOWELA. I encourage you to explore the links on this page or stop by and make an appointment with one of the advisors to learn more about our programs.
