On April 14, 2021, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) Board of Supervisors voted to approve a campus realignment plan. As a part of this plan, the Lamar Salter Campus of Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) will be transitioned to SOWELA Technical Community College (SOWELA) effective July 1, 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter. Pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
