This program is designed for individuals who currently hold a CDL and are seeking to remove the automatic transmission restriction. The cost of the training is $2,400. The program will run for 3 weeks for individuals who require full training, and 2 weeks for those who already have manual transmission experience.
Participants must have a valid CDL Class A Permit prior to enrollment.
Our hands-on course is designed to help CDL holders remove the manual restriction on their CDL, allowing them to pursue a broader range of career opportunities.
The training will include Pre-Trip Inspection, the three required maneuvers, Bob-Tail driving, and preparation for the Skills Road Test.
Throughout the program, students will gain real-world driving experience alongside our experienced instructors. This training will build essential skills such as clutch operation, gear shifting, engine and vehicle speed synchronization, proper starting and stopping techniques, and safely managing vehicles on steep grades.
In addition to hands-on driving, the program includes an in-depth Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) module that thoroughly covers the inspection process to ensure students can confidently verify vehicle safety and readiness.
Upon completion, students will be well-prepared to pass the road skills test without restrictions, confidently operate manual transmission vehicles, and expand their career opportunities within the trucking industry.
