At the time of intake for testing, students will be asked to provide their SOWELA Student ID or a government issued ID.
Proctoring is offered by the SOWELA Testing Center staff to any SOWELA student needing to take an examination that does not require an online proctoring software such as Honorlock or ProctorU. The SOWELA Testing Center is equipped to provide in-person computer-based or in-person paper-based testing by appointment only.
SOWELA students needing to take an examination (that does not require online proctoring software) in the Testing Center should contact their faculty member notifying them of their need.
Faculty will contact the Testing Center via email (testing@sowela.edu) a minimum of 72 hours prior to the exam to verify the following information:
Note: When submitting a request, the appointment is not officially scheduled. A final email will be sent to the student once the testing material has been received. The student can then schedule the exam via http://www.registerblast.com/sowela/exam.
Proctored/supervised exams are available at the following locations:
There is no cost attached to this service as the Testing Center staff are only able to proctor/supervise exams that do not require online proctoring software.
Proctoring services at our instructional sites are subject to staff availability.
