Academic Search Complete - Provides full-text articles from more than 6,100 multi-disciplinary periodicals including 5,100 peer-reviewed journals; and more than 10,600 publications including monographs, reports, and conference proceedings, etc.

African-American Newspapers - Full scans of various African-American Newspapers between 1827 to 1998, with full page scans.

Agricola - Provides more than 4.1 million citations from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Library. The citations are comprised of journal articles, monographs, theses, patents, software, audiovisual materials, and technical reports related to agriculture.

Alt HealthWatch - Provides for 180 alternative health publications, including many peer-reviewed journals, special reports, pamphlets, booklets, original research and book excerpts.

American Historical Newspapers – Louisiana - Full scans of Louisiana Newspapers, ranging from 1805 to 1900.

American Press - Allows you to access the local American Press and its archives.

Art Full Text - is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles from periodicals published throughout the world. Full-text coverage for selected periodicals is also included. Periodical coverage includes English-language periodicals, yearbooks, and museum bulletins, as well as periodicals published in French, Italian, German, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, and Swedish. In addition to articles, Art Full Text indexes reproductions of works of art that appear in indexed periodicals. Indexing coverage begins 1984; abstracting coverage begins with January 1994. The abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source articles. Full-text coverage begins in 1997. Subjects covered include Advertising Art, Antiques, Archaeology, Architecture and Architectural History, Art History, Computers in Art, Crafts, Decorative Arts, Fashion Design, Folk Art, Graphic Arts, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Motion Pictures, Non-Western Art, Painting, Photography, Pottery, Sculpture, Television, Textiles, and Video.

Art Index Retrospective - is a bibliographic database that covers citations published during 1929-1984 in the print volumes 1-32 of the Art Index. The database cites articles from periodicals published throughout the world. Periodical coverage includes English-language periodicals, yearbooks, and museum bulletins, as well as periodicals published in French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Dutch. In addition to articles, Art Index Retrospective indexes reproductions of works of art that appear in indexed periodicals.

Biography Resource Center & Marquis Who’s Who - Provides full-text biographies, magazine articles, images, and website links for more than 900,000 people

Biological Abstracts - Provides bibliographic references to life science and biomedical research journal literature published in over 4,000 international journals. This database contains more than 10 million archival records from as far back as 1969, with more than 370,000 citations added each year.

Book Collection: Nonfiction - It contains informative abstracts and full text for more than 4,400 popular nonfiction books. The database includes full text entries on core subject areas, as well as information on careers, health, sports, adventure, technology, life skills and more.

Business Source Complete - Provides full-text articles from nearly 1,200 business-related journals and contains 40,000 detailed author profiles. Topics covered include marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics. Additional full text, non-journal content includes financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, and SWOT analyses.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text - Provides full-text articles from more than 750 journals nursing and allied health journals and publications. It is the definitive research tool for all areas of nursing and allied health literature.

Computer Source - Provides full-text articles from more than 300 publications, and indexing and abstracting for over 450 technology related periodicals.

Credo Reference - Provides access to over 570 highly regarded reference titles including encyclopedias, dictionaries, biographies, quotations, and more!

CQ Researcher - Provides original, comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news. Researched and written by seasoned journalists.

Economia y Negocios - Provides indexing to more than 300 Spanish and Portuguese language business and economics periodicals published in Latin America, Spain and the United States.

Education Portal – Provides access to over 5,800 free online lessons that instructors and students may use. The mission of Education Portal is to make education accessible to everyone, everywhere. The lessons are taught by subject matter experts. The videos are between five and ten minutes in length. This is a great resource for instructors as they plan their lessons.

Environmental Index - Contains more than 1,957,000 records from over 1,700 domestic and international titles going back to the 1940s (including 1,125 active core titles) as well as 120 monographs.It includes an in-depth thesaurus, and author profiles on 6,500 authors in the discipline.

ERIC - The Education Resource Information Center contains more than 1,282,000 records and links to more than 314,000 full-text education related documents.

Fuente Academica- Provides access to multi-disciplinary Spanish language scholarly journals covering many academic areas of interest including business & economics, medical sciences, political science, law, computer science, library & information sciences, literature, linguistics, history, philosophy and theology.

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia - Provides over 25,000 full-text encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subjects.

GeoRef - Provides citations and abstracts from over 3,500 journals pertaining to geosciences, as well as records for books, maps, and government reports.

GreenFILE - Provides information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment, including over 4,700 full-text records.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition - Provides full-text records from 550 journals focusing on healthcare and medical topics. It includes Lexi-PAL Drug Guide which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.

History Reference Center - Offers a wide range of full text information: 2,400 reference books, encyclopedias and non-fiction books, 135 leading history periodicals, 61,100 historical documents, 57,000 biographies of historical figures, more than 110,200 historical photos and maps, and more than 80 hours of historical video.

Hospitality & Tourism – Provides bibliographic coverage to scholarly research and industry news relating to all areas of hospitality and tourism. This comprehensive database contains more than 749,000 records from nearly 650 titles, with coverage dating as far back as 1965.

Information Science & Technology Abstracts – Provides access to journal articles from 450 publications including books, research reports, conference proceedings and patents.

JSTOR:The Scholarly Journal Archives - Full-text scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and Sciences. Interdisciplinary content, not for current events.

Khan Academy - The Khan Academy offers over 3100 videos on a wide variety of educational topics, as well as digitized lessons in mathematics and physics.

Learning Express Library - Provides a comprehensive, interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial course sites. Includes hundreds of e-book study guides. Must create a personal login account.

Legal Collection - Provides full-text articles from nearly 250 scholarly law journals pertaining to current issues, studies, thoughts, and trends of the legal world.

Lexi-PALS Drug Guide - Provides over 1,450 full-text Patient Advisory Leaflets that provide vital education on medications for patients.It covers over 1,450 medications and natural product leaflets, with an additional 600 Spanish language leaflets representing the most subscribed and commonly used medications. It is updated monthly.

LexisNexis Academic - Provides full-text articles and abstracts from newspapers, magazines, and reference sources, includes legal resources, company profiles, and biographies.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstract with Full Text - Provides indexing to 500 core journals, 50 priority journals, and 125 selective journals; plus books, research reports and proceedings. This database contains full text for more than 240 journals. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more.

Literary Reference Center - Provides users with a broad spectrum of reference information from antiquity to the present day. It is a comprehensive database that combines information from over 1,000 monographs, literary encyclopedias, reference works, and literary journals. It contains information on the most studied authors and their works.

Literature Resource Center - Provides current biographical information, overviews, and full-text literary criticism and reviews of more than 130,000 writers.

MAS Ultra - Designed specifically for high school libraries, this database contains full text for more than 500 popular, high school magazines. Provides more than 360 full text reference books, 84,774 biographies, 105,786 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 440,207 photos, maps & flags, color PDFs and expanded full text back files (back to 1975) for key magazines.

MathSciNet - Is produced by the American Mathematical Society. It is a comprehensive database containing reviews, abstracts, and bibliographic information about mathematical literature since 1940.

MedicLatina – Provides access to a unique collection of medical research and investigatory journals from renowned Latin American and Spanish publishers. This Spanish language database contains full text for 130 peer-reviewed medical journals in native Spanish.

MEDLINE - Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and the health care system. Created by the National Library of Medicine it offers citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

Mental Measurements Yearbook - Provides a comprehensive guide to over 2,000 contemporary testing instruments in psychology, education, business, and leadership. It is produced by the Buros Institute at the University of Nebraska.

Military & Government Collection– Provides current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government. This database offers a thorough collection of periodicals, academic journals, and other content. It offers access to full text articles in nearly 300 journals and periodicals with indexing and abstracts for nearly 400 titles.

MLA Directory of Periodicals – Provides detailed information on over 5,500 journals, with 4,400 currently indexed in the International Bibliography. The detailed entries include editorial contact information, as well as frequency, circulation, subscription prices and submission guidelines.

MLA International Bibliography – Offers a bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association it contains over 1.8 million citations from more than 4,400 journals & series and 1,000 book publishers. Coverage is international and includes 60 titles from JSTOR’s language and literature collection as well as links to full text.

Newsbank - This family of historical collections contains books, pamphlets, broadsides, newspapers, government documents and ephemera printed in America over three centuries.

Newspaper Source - Provides cover-to-cover full text for 35 national & international newspapers. The database also contains selective full text for 375 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television & radio news transcripts are also provided.

Nursing & Allied Health Source - Provides full-text information from leading nursing and allied health journals. It includes Systemic Reviews, Evidence Summaries, and Best Practices Information Sheets from the renowned Joanna Briggs Institute.

Occupational Outlook Handbook - The Occupational Outlook Handbook offers descriptions of hundreds of occupations, including details of job responsibilities, work environments, how to obtain a job in that field, how much you can be paid and more. Also included are employment projections for the coming decade.

OED - Oxford English Dictionary

Primary Search - Provides full-text articles from more than 70 popular magazines for elementary school research. Includes a database of reading level indicators

Professional Development Collection - Provides full-text articles from over 520 high quality education journals and over 200 educational reports. For professional educators

Project Gutenberg - Project Gutenberg offers over 38,000 free ebooks from the public domain: choose among free epub books, free kindle books, download them or read them online.

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses - Provides abstracts and citations to 2.4 million doctoral dissertations and master theses. Some titles published since 1997 are available in PDF format online with a free 24 page review. 65,000 entries are added each year.

PsycINFO - Provides 2.4 million citations and summaries of psychology-related journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations, and technical reports.

Psychology and Behavioral Sciences - Provides full-text coverage of over 550 journals and publications pertaining to behavioral science fields

Regional Business News - Provides full-text articles from over 75 business journals, newspapers and news wires in the U.S.
