Thank you for your interest in one of Louisiana’s newest comprehensive technical community colleges. In 2003, SOWELA Technical College became SOWELA Technical Community College. As a comprehensive technical community college, SOWELA continues to offer excellent technical programs while continuing the transition to expand its mission to include academic programs designed to transfer to four year colleges and universities. As a community of scholars, we enthusiastically embrace our past, celebrate our present accomplishments and effectively plan for the future.
